My Journey with the Gina Livy Program: A Comprehensive Review

Today I’m going to share with you my personal experience with the Gina Livy program. If you’ve been following my journey, you know that I first embarked on this adventure in April 2022, and let me tell you, it has been nothing short of transformative. If you’re looking to lose some weight, or to simply feel better, this has been my favourite eating program of all time! Heck, it’s why I even started this food blog in the first place! My Journey with the Gina Livy Program

When I first started the Gina Livy program, I was looking for a change. Approaching my 40s, I realized the importance of prioritizing my health and well-being. So, I took the plunge and signed up for the program, not knowing exactly what to expect.

Fast forward to the end of the year, and I was amazed by the results. Through dedication and commitment, I managed to shed 23 pounds! But it wasn’t just about the number on the scale; I felt healthier, happier, and more energized than ever before. I was now 40 years old and felt better than I had ever felt in my 30s.

Continuing the Journey

Since then, I’ve completed the Gina Livy program four more times. Why did I repeat it? I LOVE the accountability and the structure of the program. Sure, my weight has fluctuated slightly along the way (which Gina always reminds us is absolutely normal!), but what’s important is how I feel. And let me tell you, I feel fantastic! I’ve learned to jump right back on the healthy, wholesome food wagon after I’ve had a weekend (or week…) of junky eating. Before, I had a definite “all or nothing” attitude, and trying to be “perfect” was self-sabotage.

One of the biggest takeaways from the program has been my newfound love for whole foods. That’s actually what inspired me to start this food blog, YummyWholeFoodRecipes.com. Learning to appreciate the goodness of fresh, wholesome ingredients has truly been a game-changer!

But the Gina Livy program isn’t just about what you eat; it’s a holistic approach to wellness. Through the program, I’ve become more mindful of my portion sizes and learned the importance of incorporating plenty of vegetables into my diet.

I’ve also discovered the significance of self-care, from prioritizing quality sleep to finding joy in easy physical activity. It’s all about moving your body in ways that you love and nourishing it from the inside out. After 15 years of putting my children’s health & well-being first as a busy mom, I’m finally treating myself with the same care & attention I give my children. Isn’t it funny how we always put ourselves last as busy moms?

My Tips for Success on the Giny Livy Program

And speaking of accountability, the Gina Livy program offers fantastic support through its Facebook group and app. Surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals who are on the same journey can make all the difference. Outside of the app, my mom and sister-in-law also recently did the program and it’s so helpful to have real-life friends cheering you on, too! They also give the Gina Livy program a 5 star review! I know its been life changing for them, too.

If there’s one piece of advice I could offer to anyone considering the Gina Livy program, it would be this: keep track of your eating (& drinking) habits even after the program ends. It’s easy to slip back into old habits, but by staying accountable and mindful, you can maintain your progress.

She then started one-on-one personal weight loss coaching which then blossomed into helping groups of people lose weight online. In addition to Gina’s industry expertise, she features other health professionals like chiropractors, sleep experts etc. in her Facebook group and podcast during the program. I always learn so much from Gina & her team while doing the program!

Duration of the Gina Livy Program

The Gina Livy program lasts for 91 days during a specific timeframe. During this time, participants receive guidance on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle habits to support their journey to better health. You can take the program as many times as you want, and Gina offers some excellent guidance on how to continue your journey after the program in a healthy & sustainable way.

On the Gina Livy program, the focus is on whole, nutritious foods. Participants are encouraged to eat a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats.   4. I am turning 80 next February and over the past 3 years have gained 20 lbs. l did have breast cancer and l am on an estrogen blocker but that shouldn’t account for all the weight gain. I am planning on joining the winter program starting in January. I will be away in Kauai for the month of February but a great place for all their fresh fruit. Looking forward to the program.😁
