Easy Dirty Iced Matcha Latte Recipe

This refreshing drink is a glorious mixture of matcha green tea powder, cold foamed milk and espresso. Serve it over ice and watch the gorgeous layers combine! Here's how to make a dirty iced matcha latte.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 shots espresso

Instructions
 

  • Pull the double espresso shot with a Nespresso machine or espresso machine.
  • Place the matcha powder in a glass, pour the hot water over the powder and blend with a hand held frother or a whisk.
  • Pour the ice into the glass, and then foam the cold milk with an Aeroccino or a hand-held frother.
  • Pour the cold foamed milk into the glass, and then pour the espresso over the foamed milk.

Notes

  • This recipe is unsweetened, but if you want it sweeter add 2 tsp of maple syrup or honey to the bottom of the glass before adding the rest of the ingredients.
